Description

Dumb Ways to Die brought you the dumb little Beans that the world fell in love with. Now it’s time for another dumbfounding adventure!

Environments

Dumbville, Dumb Peak, Dumbgypt, Dumbtune (or Planet Dumb), Dumbcove, and Dumbcastle are the known environments in the game.

Unlike buildings, each ornament immediately generates fixed amount of per 60 minutes; though, only one or a few more of them can be collected per environment, sometimes none of them among an environment could be collected.

Note that the Hospital from Dumbvile is not listed below table, which requires 100,000 to repair with 3 hours repair times; and generates 45 per minute and can save up to 10,000 before get collected. It also has +50% Token multiplier boost.

Flying Fiasco

How to control:

1. Hold on the screen to let the aeroplane up

Overview:

This minigame is associated with Dumbville.

In this minigame, the purpose is to fly through hoops, avoid obstacles, and get a high score to then, care for your different towns. In a sort of way, it is like flappy bird.

Snow Safari

Passing a D-shaped course in the middle phase

How to control:

1. Touch the screen to change the direction of Bean
2. Press the screen a bit long time to change the direction of Bean with faster speed

Overview:

This minigame is associated with the environment Dumb Peak.

To succeed in this mini game, you have to avoid obstacles while your bean is on skis and can control it. To get bonus points, you have to ski between the flags. There are blizzards to make you go one way unless you tap and hold the screen to ski faster through the wind, and penguins crossing between the different sides of the hills.

Special strategy for the Ski between (n) Flags Achievements:

You must avoid "chain combo" in order to achieve them easily. Because the difficulty increases depending on the game scores; getting high scores will accelerate the Bean's speed and the final yet hardest phase (around after 2500 scores) will be met quickly. Thus, it is recommended to skip some flags in order to decelerate these factors. This strategy is also useful for "Collect (n) Tokens in a single round" achievements too, but passing between flags isn't necessary.

How to control:

Overview:

This minigame is associated with the environment Dumbgypt.

To get a good score you will need to jump over obstacles. the obstacles are spikes, water, falling pads, TNT, and holes. To avoid these you tap to jump. If you tap and hold you jump higher.

Culinary Chaos

How to control:

1. Tap the screen to chop and slice food
2. Avoid the kitchen appliances

Overview:

You have to chop the ingredients and avoid the kitchen appliances. Chopping a kitchen appliance will electrocute and stun the bean for a while, it must pass through the line so it will be filtered by a magnet. In contrast, the ingredients must be cut in a line and if a raw ingredient passes through the line, the blender will explode and break, resulting in the game over.

This minigame is similar to Pyramid Run, and associated with Dumbgypt, exepct you're sliding on a sarcophagus.

To get a good score, try to smash the crystals that appear around the map, as they give you points.

Overview:

This minigame begins with a bean freed from a cage. you need to rotate the screen and avoid obstacles such as lava, spikes, monster chests and more. Bouncing on a penguin will reward more coins. And is associated with Dumb Castle.

Three types of Gifts can be purchased in game:

Note that Common and Rare Gifts may reward a Bean/Costume/Paint/Ornament with the rarity higher than the Gift itself, including Epic items. And the Rare and Epic Gifts don't reward any Common items.

Main features

Life system

This screenshot indicates how the Hospital works.

The Life system was like usual stamina system around most mobile games and existed prior to version 1.02.

All the playable beans used to lose their life every end of the minigame. When the bean loses all their lives, they became injured and then got sent to the Hospital. The injured Beans cannot be played until their healing time is over or instantly healing them by either spending 1000 or watching an advertisement through online network.

The healing time for beans was determined by bean's rarity and beans with higher rarity had longer healing times. The following lists rarities with its healing times:

• Common: 30 Minutes
• Rare: 1 Hour
• Epic: 1 Hour 30 Minutes

Some beans and some costumes with the ability to increases user's life(s) had gotten other abilities instead as well.

Space Drift

This minigame existed prior to version 1.02.

How to control:

1. Pull-n-drop to let the Bean move like a slingshot. (the distance of moving can be adjusted)
2. The pulling direction is based on the position of the Bean.
3. Pass through the screen to go the opposite side of the screen.

• Contacting a TV obstacle was counted as 1 hit for the beans with hit immune ability; while the TV itself doesn't take off the helmet but just stuns the Bean.

Trivia

• In older versions of the game, Mishap, Pillock, and Putz used to have an "extra lives" ability (which means they have at least eight lives). However, since the hospital feature has been removed, the characters' ability's changed. More information regarding this found here.
• The Rare Gift and Epic Gift used to be bought with 2500 and 10000 respectively before an unknown version.
• In the trailer of the game, the scoring system for both Snow Safari and Pyramid Run were different compared to the live version.
  • Also, the design for both Dumbville and Dumbgypt were different:

• Some of the costumes for the beans are a reference to other DWtD stuff:
  • Numpty's Fireplace could be a reference to the April Fools Ways to Die where he was thrown into that.
  • Dummkopf's Skeleton is based on the electrocution scene of him in the original video.
  • Dippy's Swimmer might be a reference to Zany’s outfit in the minigame 100m Piranha Freestyle in Drown Town.
  • Ninny’s Safari costume was the same one used in a DWtD Facebook post about Ninny getting scratched by a lion.
  • Dimwit had a worker outfit. Now, he appears as an NPC dancing in it while a building is repairing.
  • Hapless’ Bear Hat is obviously a reference to his death about poking a stick at a grizzly bear.
  • Pillock's Jamaican is a hair taken from Boffo's one.
  • Botch's Christmas is a decoration taken from Deck the Halls.
  • Botch’s Antenna is a reference to his alien form in his Alien Invasion minigame in Dumb Ways to Die 2: The Games.
  • Some costumes like Calamity's Fringe and Dunce's Afro are references to some of the Build A Bean cosmetics.
