A standard dancer is a bean that follows the normal dance during the chorus of the video Dumb Ways to Die. The dance involves hula dancing and pacing to the beat, then turning around and jumping, before they sway their arms from side to side with the music.
In Trump Ways to Die the standard dancers just hula dance and pace.

Trivia[]
- Bonehead and Putz are unique in the fact that they don’t fully follow the Standard Dance.
- Although Bonehead does the pacing, jump, and arms swaying, he never does the spin that most other Standard Dancers follow.
- Putz does even less by only doing the jump and arms swaying.
- Doomed does not wave his arms, however, his arms are covered by his trash bag as he is never seen outside his bag.
- Not including Doomed (although it's unclear if he's singing or not considering he still had his head and he is inside in the bag), Hapless is the only Standard Dancer who does not sing in the original video, due to the bear eating his head off.
- Every group has at least 1-4 standard dancers.
- In Dumb Ways to Dash!, there is a dance called "DUMB WAYS DANCE", the dance involves around the bean the player is currently playing as move from side-to-side while thrusting their arms, in a similar fashion to the standard dance.
- In the Dumb Ways to Die app, the standard dancers do the same dance as the tertiary dancers.
